Spring Open and Youth Juried Awards Show

 

The annual SGFAA Spring Open and Youth Juried Awards Show will be on Saturday, April 28, and Sunday, April 29, 2012.  The show will at the Grapevine Room at Grapevine Arbor Park, 324 South Mission Drive, San Gabriel, California 91776 (NE corner of Mission Drive and Santa Anita Street).

Registration for the show is Thursday, April 26, 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Friday, April 27, 8:00 AM to noon.  There will be a reception on April 29, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  Awards presentation will be 3:30 on the 29th.

The association is looking for volunteers to help in all aspects of the show:

  • Registration of the submittals on Thursday and Friday
  • Docents for the show dates on Saturday and Sunday
  • Bring refreshments and manning the refreshment tables
  • Take down and delivery to the gallery of the art after the closing ceremony Sunday afternoon.

Exhibit Opportunity


The City of Alhambra will have a monthly Mosaic Art Walk every First Friday of the Month beginning May 5, 2012.  If you are an artist interested in displaying your work, contact the City at downtownalhambra@yahoo.com.  More information can be found in Alhambra Monthly Mosaic Art Walk.

 

Teaching Opportunity
